Text-to-Speech

„Text-to-speech (TTS) is a technology that converts written text into spoken language. TTS systems enable computers to read text aloud, making them useful in many applications, including voice assistants, e-book readers and navigation systems.

Modern TTS systems often use neural network architectures, particularly deep learning, to generate more natural-sounding human voices. This differs from older systems, which relied on concatenated audio segments and often sounded less natural.

The quality and naturalness of TTS systems have improved significantly in recent years and they can now generate speech in different languages, dialects and voice pitches. Some advanced systems are even able to insert emotions or special intonations into the generated speech.
